What subjects and school years does Chegu Khairi teach?
Add Maths (Matematik Tambahan) and Mathematics for SPM, Form 4 and Form 5; and Mathematics for PT3, Form 1 to Form 3. One-to-one lessons are available for Form 1 through Form 5.
Are online Add Maths classes available?
Yes. The online class follows the same structure as the physical class in Shah Alam: homework is marked by Chegu Khairi and returned, mistakes are discussed with the class, and parents are emailed every time their child submits homework. Students need a phone, tablet or laptop and a stable connection.
My child failed Add Maths. Can they still improve?
Yes, and it is common. One student, Ainin Sabrina, scored a D for PT3 Mathematics and later scored 100 for Add Maths. In most cases the problem is not the Form 4 chapter the student is stuck on, but an unrepaired gap in Form 2 or Form 3 algebra that every later chapter depends on. Finding and fixing that gap is where Chegu Khairi starts.
How do parents know whether their child is making progress?
Parents get an email every time their child submits homework, showing how much of the paper is answered, the marking so far, and a link to the marked work. Is homework marked and returned?
Yes. Every piece of homework is marked by Chegu Khairi himself and returned to the student, then discussed in class so mistakes are highlighted and the whole class benefits rather than only the student who made the error.
